This piece is inspired in the spirit of Lozen, who fought against Mexican and American forces for 30 years protecting her people. She was skilled rider, shooter and could localise the enemy using her “supernatural powers.” Through the prayer she’s got her answers.
Even though her ally Chief Geronimo and brother Chief Victorio are better known in pages of history, this warrior shaman remains a legend to her people. Known for her bravery, dedication and connection to the source.
This piece is a tribute to all woman who did remarkable things and weren’t mentioned at all. And to those who are fighting they own battles right now, in silence. It’s here to remind you that YOU ARE POWERFUL!
